Allocation of Attorney Fee's

One of the most common questions we are asked as Atlanta family law attorneys concerns how and if we can get the other party to be responsible for our client’s attorney’s fees. The answer to this question depends on your individual circumstances and they type of case.

In certain situation the court will make an award of fees based on the requesting party’s need and the other party’s ability to pay. In other situations, an award of fees may be warranted where a party has acted frivolously are in bad faith.
